This is the home of Mrs. Candy Singh, belongs to the well-known
erstwhile feudal family of Mandawa, her father late Thakur Bhim
Singhji Mandawa was elected to the Indian Parliament and
Rajasthan State Legislature. An alumnus of the famous Maharani
Gayatri Devi Girls’ Public School, she has done her Masters in
English Literature.
Married to a cavalry officer, Candy has traveled widely in India
to far-flung places, while accompanying her husband and has
imbibed the great social and cultural diversity of India. Widely
read, she encompasses in her personality the very essence of
Indian ness. An expert in Indian, Rajasthani and Continental
cuisine, she personally supervises the preparation of food at
Sri Niwas to exacting standards of culinary excellence. A touch
that is well acknowledged by their guests.
