Misty Heights is an Indian Eco Homestay that is centrally located in the Nilgiri Mountains , of Tamil Nadu in South India between the towns of Ooty, Coonoor and Kotagiri each unique in their character and named here in order of their size and population.

At Misty Heights You can discover Indian Cooking .This would be an opportunity to learn the art of preparing Indian Cuisine from scratch. It's a hands on experience wherein your hosts will walk you through the entire process of an Indian Meal preparation from the process of procuring the basic ingredients to the point of licking your fingers once you go through your meal.

Cloud “9” is the Corner Stone of the Misty Heights Indian Eco Homestay. You will be climbing up about 250 feet (80 meters) to this cottage from the point where home stay's vehicle brings you. It is a gentle climb and you have a clear path taking you up which is lit at night.

The design of this cottage has been done keeping in mind the needs that would arise from a Single traveler, or a Couple. There is a Victorian Style King Sized Double Bed in the Bedroom. The cottage enjoys a colonial rustic Indian decor and the interiors have been designed ecologically keeping in mind the utility of this Natural Heat and Light. Thus the interiors stay warm thanks to the heat that has been trapped through the day.

The Citidoran cottage is an integral part of the Misty Heights Eco Homestay. This cottage is a stone's throw away from the Host Family Home and a few steps up from the main porch where again homestay's Vehicle will bring you.

The design of this cottage has been done keeping in mind the needs that would arise from a couple or a small family. The Cottage consists of a Large Living cum Dining area, 2 Bedrooms, A Buddy Bath and a Patio. There is an elegant sit-out right outside this cottage for you to take in the ambience of our South Indian Eco Homestay. There are large Bay Windows all around the cottage which throw open a Myriad of colors with breathtaking views of the Tea Fields that surround us and also an opportunity to catch the shimmering lights of the Valley.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served by the Hosts in the cottage itself or if you so desire in the Host family Home and thus food need not be a worry at all for anybody coming over. Options for Outdoor Dining are also available.
