Homestay have set for you this state in miniature not in plaster and wood but in its original splendour in a vast area of 20 acres in Paika in Pala which you reach in a short time from the town of Kottayam with its beautiful lake at Kumarakom. The land of Kerala, coconuts, is a small but thickly populated state. Lying at the southernmost tip of the vast Indian subcontinent, Kerala is known as God's own country, with its luscious greenery and abundance in natural resources.

It is the refuge of migratory birds and the bird sanctuaries beckon visitors from far and near. With all this, come the backwaters with which nature has blessed it.
