The cottage at Javamane is a traditionally styled Kodava bungalow that fits into the surroundings with ease. It is situated about 25 kms from Madikeri the district headquarters of Kodagu. The drive from Madikeri to Javamane is sure to be a memorable one as the sights of the mountain ranges, enroute are breathtaking.When you reach at Javamane , you can sense the change in the air. There is a frisson of expectation. A kind of rhapsody envelops you even as you sense the serenity all around. At an altitude of 3500 ft, in the high ranges of interior Kodagu, lush, vibrant green is the predominant colour here.
