The Devpur family offers their Darbargadh's three well appointed
rooms and an eco friendly serviced apartment pavilion with a
tennis court for a traditional Kutchi homestay is also a delight for the bird watchers, trekkers and
travelers at large. The area’s rich Culture, Handicraft,
Tradition or Archaeology would leave any traveler spellbound and
wanting to return again. Within the Fort walls is also located a
residential school.
The large heritage rooms, like any Kutch hotel or resort are
warm and comfortable with en suite modern bathrooms, living and
dining areas.
Kutchi / Indian or continental meals are served in a vintage
Kutch Rasoi / Dining Room. Guests can also learn or watch the
preparation of meals with the hosts willing to explain the
nuances and expertise required in their preparation.
Kutch is delightful round the year; accept for a few weeks in
May and September. Rainfall in Kutch is scanty and August after
a few showers is another season not known to many travelers to
discover the lush green landscape. Winters are chilly by the
night and temperatures would dip into single digits but days are
clear and sunny.
